I recently checked out TREI for brunch. We ordered to share the Salmon Benedict and the Blueberry French toast with a side of bacon. For drinks we went with a Salted caramel popcorn latte and a Bounty dark hot chocolate. The salmon benedict with grilled asparagus was delicious. The eggs were perfectly poached and everything on the plate worked together beautifully. For the Blueberry French toast we opted to add a side of bacon, there’s also an option to add fried chicken if preferred. The saltiness of the bacon helped balance out the sweetness from the maple syrup, I was surprised how well the combination worked. The menu features a number of specialty lattes which I was intrigued to try. Topped with popcorn, the salted caramel popcorn latte is decadent and on the sweet side. Perfect for a sweet tooth it might be a little too sweet for others. With friendly service and tasty food I recommend checking them out if in the area.

Stopped by Trei Cafe for a sunny day meal in the neighborhood. We had the chicken and waffles—chicken was a bit on the dry side, but the chilli maple syrup really lifted the dish. The classic brekkie burger was satisfying, paired with a solid coffee and fresh orange juice. Overall, a decent spot for a casual meal!

Trei Cafe offers a fantastic brunch experience with the added charm of live music. Their menu is extensive, with plenty of options to choose from. We tried the chicken burger, chicken waffles, and nasi lemak, and each dish was a hit. The nasi lemak, in particular, stood out for its spicy chili, and both the rice and chicken were packed with flavor. A great spot for a relaxing meal with a fun atmosphere!

Their brisket benny is a must try. It was unexpectedly delicious, burst in flavor and meat was so tender. Top with hollandaise sauce and poached eggs the dish was perfect. The korean fried chicken tacos were good as well.

Enjoy your stay at Trei Cafe Charming café located at the corner of Blackburn Rd and Lucerne St, perfect for enjoying sunny days from both the front and side seating areas. There’s also a shaded courtyard seating option, and very dog-friendly.We had: French Toast 22Add ons: chicken 7 Southern Fried Chicken Waffles 25Add ons: egg 3 bacon 5 S’mores Hot Choc 7.50 Matcha Latte6.00The highlight of the French Toast was the crispy, pan-fried eggy edges giving a simple savoury flavor with a touch of sweetness from the syrup, further moistened with blueberry compote and cream cheese. Being more of a savoury dish, adding fried chicken was a good idea.As for the waffles they were fluffy and paired well with the fried chicken, which had a light, crunchy coating and juicy meat.Matcha surprisingly had decent matcha flavour.

I don't usually order chicken and waffle but this one was on a savoury waffle, really delicious! Must try. And also the biscoff latte if you are a biscoff fanatic like me!
